The intention for the New Year’s Pagoda was to create an interactive space for children and adults at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center in Topeka, Kansas. Along with the interactive elements of the Pagoda, we also wanted to satisfy the clients and donors who wished for the traditional Chinese pagoda elements to be adequately portrayed in our modern version of the pagoda. This course also prioritized the experiences of working hands on in groups with classmates as well as clients.
